[Cape Epic 2016] 第六站 Stage 6

Cape Epic第六站，賽事距離是最短的只有69km，但總爬升卻是2100米，路段是很多up and down的single track。車手必需在限時6.5小時內，完成距離69公里及總爬升2100米。

起步前與與我們同住的比利時車隊合照（上圖），也有每天為我們運動按摩的技師，及負責來回接送的司機。

Today’s Stage 6 was very difficult. Although the shortest stage, over 2000m of vertical meant that we were climbing all the time. Climbs included an interesting mix of steep (20° gradient) Jeep roads and single track technical climbing. The downhills were gay and we rode some of the best handmade trails in western Cape. Another highlight was riding 150m in almost pitch black through a drainage tunnel.

第六站距離雖短，但難度實在很高，超過2000米的總爬升，即是說車手差不多全程都是向上爬。賽道上的斜路，有20度的越野路，也有非常考技術的爬山窄路。至於落山路段，相信它們是南非西開普省（Western Cape）其中一條最漂亮的人造越野單車徑，我們踩得很開心。還有，Stage 6有一段引水隧道，車手需要在完全漆黑的環境前進150米，也是精華之一。

All up a hard day; fortunately the weather was perfect which made it more manageable for everyone.

賽道雖然難度十足，但近乎完美的天氣，令大家都更易處理，順利完成！

之後就是最後一站 Stage 7了！

Stage 7 第七站，也是最後一站終點站，賽程距離86km，總爬升1200m，限時8小時內完成，難度屬3星 。今天看似很輕鬆，但也不能鬆懈，預祝三支香港車隊都能成功。
